Day 1-29/09/2019
Here we are Federica, Francesca and Domenico, from the scientific lyceum but especially from the erasmus group, and our erasmus adventure have just begun.
Which is our destination? Avesta, sweden.
We woke up so early, our flight to milan was at 6 a.m. and after that we had to wait for the plane that will bring us in stockholm, which is at 1 p.m.
We are leased by one of the deutsch teachers, livia barone, she will bring us at our destination and she will help us.
After our breakfast, a walk through the linate airport and a little lunch we have taken our flight.
Everything was perfect, a lovely weather and we were so excited but so tired at the same time.
The time runs so fast between a chat and a little nap (which is necessary sometimes).
We arrived in stockholm finally! It’s 3:40 p.m.
The flight was fantastic and when we arrived the weather was a bit windy and cold but anyway it was fine.
Our rented car was waiting for us, so we arrived in avesta.
The trip in the car was so nice, we saw so many lands, typical places and views of sweden.
It’s 6 p.m. In avesta our hosts were waiting for us! We met them finally!
Everyone was so nice, everything was perfect. Now it’s time to split up.
Each of us followed his/her host, it’s time to have a shower and a dinner too!
What can we say?
The trip was very long but we are so excited to discover what will happen in the next days!

Day 2-30/09/2018
Today other countries arrived! We slept so deeply, yesterday it was very exhausting. We all had a typical breakfast: bread, lots of butter, milk, yogurt, cheese and so on.
Francesca and Domenico, which share the host say: visited the city of Norberg. at lunch we stayed with our grandparents and ate hot dogs and in the afternoon we visited the lake of Fregg.
In the evening we ate meat at the barbecue with salad and potatoes with cheese typical of the village of frogg.
While Federica says: was in Solvarbo, where there’s a huge market ones a year.
Very typical with all the red houses.
After a walk, with the host we went into a cafe and we had a typical plate, composed by shrimps, potatoes and vegetables.
Then we went to the train station to pick up the greek girl who will stay with us!
Then after our dinner at 6 p.m., we went for a walk with other erasmus guys from other places.
And then at home!
Tomorrow we have to go tu school!

Day 3-01/10/2018
Today it’s our first day of school.
We woke up at 6.30 a.m. and after our typical breakfast we went to the school.
It’s name is karlfeldgymnasiet and it’s huge.
The headmaster of the school welcomed us.
After some quick notions about Avesta and the school he played for us a song, he was so good! We had some icebreakers games, and then they gave to us some gifts (candies, crisps, water and our badge).
Actually we discovered that you can’t stay in this school if you don’t have one.
Anyway after that we have seen some work that we have prepared: task two (an interview to a person that belongs to a minority ethnic group) and task 3 (an interview to anche human rights activist).
Every country have prepared a video of each task and we have seen them all.
Then our teacher has been separated from us, they had some workshops.
The students guided us through their school and we had this sort of tour.
We had our lunch at the school’s caffetteria, before to start working.
We have been separated in 4 groups, anyone composed by 1 person of each country and with an aim, like organizing a panel talk and so on.
We saw our powerpoints: task 4 and 5 and they both were about an ethnic minority. We had something to eat between one task and the other, just like apples, bananas, cookies and so on.
We were a huge group but everyone was so nice, we all organize to go to a caffe after school.
So we get there and it has been quite funny, to have a confrontation about our differences and similarities and to discover new things about different cultures.
We had a walk but the weather started raining and we had to come home.
But anyway the day has been wonderful! We ate something at home for dinner.
We can’t wait for tomorrow, we will be in stockholm!

Day 4-02/10/2018
Today we went in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden!
We all have met in Avesta at 8.00, and by bus we arrived at about 10.30.
We were all of the erasmus group and also our teachers!
we at first visited the nordiska museet.
It shows to you all of the nordic history and also about swedish ethnical minorities, it has been quite interesting, to know the main line.
We have seen so many things about the sami and other ethnical minorities like their dress, how they live, and their history.
After this incredible experience in this sort of castle/church/palace (but actually a museum) we went to the city center!
Stockholm is absolutely amazing, it so beautiful, every building seems to be like a work of art!
We have been lucky because the forecasts said that it would be raining, but at the end just cloudy!
We have been in some shops, to the old center (which is amazing) and in front of the royal palace which is absolutely wonderful.
At 6 we left Stockholm and we went back home, happy but tired too.
The journey was incredible, we sang song from our different countries, we plaid cards and we laughed a lot!
It has been a wonderful day, something that we will never forget.
We ate something at home and then to bed! Tomorrow we have to go at school.

Day 5-03/10/2018
Today we went at school and stayed there for all the day!
In the morning we had a course about self leadership, how to use your values to achieve your goals, and which one are your value?
Our teachers stayed with us a little bit.
After lunch at 11:30, we discussed together about our conclusions and opinions.
Then we played a typical Swedish game, it’s like ice hockey, but not on ice.
It was so funny because some of us were very good and some of us not at all.
After that we went to bowling, and we had a great time!
We laughed a lot and ate a hamburger!
This day has been so funny and exciting but tiring too!

Day 6-04/10/2018
Today we went to school for our workshops, everything must be done for tomorrow.
After our lunch we had a charity event, you could print your nails for example or have your face painted and all that has been earned goes to an association.
It has been so funny because we started to dance the typical dance of each country.
Then the pannel talk, about ethnic minorities, so one person of each country answered to some questions in front of everyone.
Then we went for a walk and some shopping in Avesta galleria, where there are lots of shops. After that we went to the verket museum, where there was an art show.
It was an old ironworks.
There we had our lunch and the Erasmus students prepared a cake for Domenico, because it’s his birthday!
Everything has been quite funny and exciting too!
Day 7-05/10/2018
Today is our last day! But it has been unforgettable.
In the morning we have seen the video of the week with lots of pictures of us during this week, then we plays kahoot.
This game is like a multiple choice game and it was about ethnic minorities.
Then we had our last lesson of our self leaders course, but we used our free time of the break to play cards!
After our launch we went to the coppermine, and we had a guided tour through the mine, for some of us it has been quite frightening because it was so dark and wet, but anyway we think that it has been quite interesting!
We wore our helmets and our waterproof ponchos and no one get injured or wet!
After that we went back home for a shower because we have been invited to a party!
Everyone took some food and we had a huge meal all together!
It has been wonderful, we danced, played and laughed a lot, all of the countries.
This is like the end of our experience because tomorrow morning we will leave, unfortunately.
We said goodbye to everyone, and we are quite sure that we will miss all of them!
We hope to keep in touch with some of them ‘cause they are so lovely.
We went home at 11 o’clock, because tomorrow at 5 our taxi will be waiting for us!
We are a bit sad about the departure, but we miss our homes too.
This is the 7 day of our experience!
Day 8-06/10/2018
Today is saturday and we come back home.
We left our houses at 4,30 and took the taxi at 5 in front of the our teacher’s hotel.
We arrived at the airport at 7 and after some shopping we took our flight to Milano Malpensa at 9.
It has been a unforgettable experience so we’re a bit sad.
We arrived in Milan at 12 and ate something because at 3 there’s our flight to Rome.
When we arrived in Rome at 4 and then we discovered that our flight to Lamezia has been delayed because of the bad weather.
So we left Rome at 18.05 instead of 17.20.
But anyway our journey has been quite calm and without any problems apart from this delay.
When we arrive in Lamezia our families were waiting for us.
We have to say that this one has been an unforgettable experience, we met so many people from different countries, we laughed a lot and we discovered so many things about the way that other people live.
Now we are richer than before, it has been a perfect moment to think about our differences as a way to grow up. And we have to say thank you especially to our teacher Rina Barilaro because she gave to us this opportunity and because she worked a lot on this project, to Livia Barone because she was there and supported us a lot and to our headmaster Nicolantonio Cutuli because he made it happen.

In questa sezione si descrive il programma di permanenza del primo incontro del progetto.

Dal 26 novembre al 02 dicembre 2017, l'istituto scolastico jakob – friedrich schöllkopf schule in kirchheim unter teck, germania ospiterà la prof.ssa barilaro, responsabile del progetto, e gli alunni:
- Saturno Davide Francesco – classe quarta d indirizzo serv. comm.–ambito turistico
- Gentile Mariarosa - classe quarta d indirizzo serv. comm. – ambito turistico
- Aloisi Giorgia - classe quarta a indirizzo serv. enogastronomici e osp. alberghiera
La visita tratterà le tematiche erasmus: l 'educazione ambientale e sostenibile, la difesa dei diritti umani, parità di genere, turismo eco – sostenibile o eco – solidale.
All’incontro di progetto parteciperanno tutte le rappresentanze dei paesi partner: grecia, svezia, austria, la scuola coordinatrice, la finlandia e, naturalmente, la germania, come paese ospitante.
Per favorire una completa integrazione culturale e linguistica, gli studenti saranno ospitati presso le famiglie dei coetanei tedeschi, come previsto dal concordato “progetti transnazionali dell’unione europea”.
Domenica 26 novembre 2017
Giornata lunga e piena di grande aspettativa per il primo incontro di progetto a kirchheim unter teck, in Germania.
Arrivati all' aeroporto di stoccarda alle 22. 00, con qualche minuto di ritardo, dopo aver atteso alcune ore a milano malpensa.
Abbiamo lasciato il sole a tropea e abbiamo trovato tanto freddo e inizio di nevischio qui, oltralpe!!!!
Impiegato il tempo a rivedere i punti focali dell' agenda 2030 dell' unione europea, mentre si susseguivano i messaggi ed i contatti con i ragazzi del gruppo erasmus dei paesi partner.
Grande fermento ed eccitazione nel volersi incontrare e conoscere non appena arrivati a destinazione.
Le famiglie che ci aspettavano in aeroporto, qui a stoccarda, sono sorridenti e gentili, gli studenti tedeschi premurosi e cordiali, i colleghi disponibili e felici di averci qui.
Domani, alle 8.10, subito a scuola per avviare l' inizio dei lavori in programma e per parlare di ecosostenibilità!

Benvenuto del capo di istituto presso la jacob-friedrich schule a tutto il gruppo erasmus.
Visita guidata per tutto l' edificio.
Presentazione dei video di tutti i paesi partner riguardanti la scuola di appartenenza.
Suddivisione dei gruppi di lavoro per la preparazione delle tematiche dell' agenda europea.
L'organizzazione del sistema scolastico tedesco pone particolare attenzione all'alternanza scuola - lavoro e all'integrazione delle minoranze etniche generate dalla elevata presenza di rifugiati politici provenienti, soprattutto dal Gambia, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq.

"Challenges vs solutions"
Giornata di grandi consultazioni: i ragazzi sono stati divisi per gruppi di lavoro di modo che, per ogni gruppo ci fosse almeno un rappresentante di ciascun paese partner!
L' obiettivo?
Discutere i 5 punti focali e produrre dei cartelli su cui trascrivere i punti di forza e di debolezza che ciascun paese presenta.
Ecco il risultato: employment (occupazione/disoccupazione), human rights (diritti umani), gender (equità di genere), environment (ecosostenibilità), recycling (riciclo).
Secondo impegno della giornata, la presentazione della propria città o del paese di provenienza: ottima opportunità per conoscere stili di vita, costumi, abitudini e particolarità tipiche della propria nazione!
Ed ancora, i ragazzi veri protagonisti!!!!!
In ordine di presentazione: Germania, Grecia, Italia, Austria, Finlandia.

Il bello di ogni paese è la scoperta dei paesaggi, delle tradizioni e delle particolarità!!!! La neve aggiunge sempre qualcosa di misterioso e, se la meta e' un castello, sede ancestrale della casa reale di Prussia, allora il senso di mistero e di meraviglia assume un significato ancora più profondo.
Maestoso troneggia il castello dei Hohenzollern a Turbingen, sulla cima di un monte dello Giura Svevo.
Dai suoi bastioni si offre ai visitatori un' incomparabile panoramica, una delle più belle che si possano ammirare da roccaforti tedesche.
Il castello Hohenzollern, per la sua pittoresca posizione e per l' arredamento di alto valore di cui è dotato, ha reso la visita un vero evento!!!!!!

I gruppi di lavoro sì ricompongono e in programma oggi la creazione di video animati su cui registrare in audio i risultati comparativi delle posizioni assunte da ciascun paese partner in seno alle problematiche ambientali e sociali.

Alla scoperta di uno dei più importanti marchi tedeschi: la mercedes-benz.
Quello di Stoccarda è l'unico al mondo che ricostruisce 126 anni di storia dell' industria automobilistica, iniziando dall'invenzione di gottlieb daimler e carl benz: l'automobile!
Dalle pietre miliari del marchio mercedes-benz, alle supersportive, le frecce d'argento, alle vetture dalle porte ad ali di gabbiano.
Qui possiamo indagare da vicino i temi attuali della ricerca, del design, dello sviluppo, della produzione, del marketing.
Tempo di bilanci:
- lo stare in famiglia ospiti dei partner tedeschi: fantastico!!!!!!!!
- i nuovi amici: condivisione!!!!!!!
- il partire: promesse!!!!!!!!
- il rientro: ancor piu' bello, si condivide cio' che si e' vissuto!!!!!!

L’europa cambia (anche) la (nostra) scuola…
…“c’era una volta una grande istituzione scolastica di una nota località marina più vicina alla sicilia che a roma; si chiamava istituto di istruzione superiore - tropea; c’erano insegnanti, studenti di liceo, classico e scientifico, di vocazione professionale turistica ed alberghiera..…” ops!
Questo è l ’inizio di una fiaba!
A noi piace esordire così, perché in effetti la nostra “avventura” europea ha molte caratteristiche della fiaba: situazione iniziale, svolgimento, mete da raggiungere, protagonisti ed aiutanti.
Manca volutamente la conclusione e ci auguriamo che non ci sia, non ancora almeno!
La nostra fiaba ha una struttura circolare, tutte le esperienze fatte sembrano tornare al punto di partenza, il desiderio di impegnarci in progetti che evidenziano le nostre competenze, conoscenze ed abilità, la voglia di aprirci a orizzonti culturali nuovi e a sfide sempre più audaci.
Ma, iniziamo a raccontare la fiaba………
Il titolo progetto erasmus ka2 plus “youth for europe – agenda 2017 - 2019”; protagonisti: italia (istituto di istruzione superiore – tropea), germania (jakob-friedrich-schöllkopf-schule), svezia (karlfeldtgymnasiet), grecia (2 peiramatiko geniko lykeio athinon), austria (hak judenburg), finlandia (kimpisen lukio); prima tappa: lappeenranta; 1° atto: 02 – 06 ottobre c.m. per il primo incontro di progetto.
Scenario: la finlandia o come dicono i finlandesi, suomi, con i suoi 5,4 milioni di abitanti, distesa di innumerevoli fiumi e laghi (oltre mille), costellata da verdi aree boschive, ontani, conifere e betulle, habitat perfetto di animali e uccelli selvatici, come orsi, lupi, renne, aquile, gru e cigni (tra l ’altro simbolo del paese), nonché della specie di foche più rara al mondo, è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi lasciandosi alle spalle i rumori, gli ingorghi stradali tipici dell ‘ europa centro-meridionale che qui, sono praticamente inesistenti.
Anche se i locali talvolta si lamentano del traffico, raramente uno straniero capirà il perché.
È proprio la percezione del traffico ad essere diversa: per un finlandese un ritardo di un paio di minuti significa “essere rimasto incastrato in un ingorgo”.
Ed il sistema scolastico?
La scuola dell 'obbligo inizia all 'età di sette anni.
La scuola è gratuita, gratuiti sono anche i libri di testo, i materiali necessari per l'attività didattica, il pasto e il trasporto per distanze superiori ai 5 km.
La competenza del servizio scolastico spetta ai comuni.
E l ‘ eco - sostenibilità?
Progetti di illuminazione, di valorizzazione della cultura locale (un milione e 800mila le saune in tutto il paese), uso di arredamenti a basso impatto ambientale, riuso quasi esasperato di oggetti ed edifici, fino a progetti per promuovere i mezzi pubblici e l’ampliamento delle aree pedonali ed ancora, materiale di riciclo ma soprattutto il legno delle sterminate foreste finlandesi. T
utti temi di cui si parla, ma che in questa parte dell ’ europa fanno parte del quotidiano.
Ma perché soffermarci tanto su un paese a circa 2.500 km di distanza?
Perché proprio su questi temi ci si è confrontati nei giorni scorsi per la prima conferenza di progetto che ha dato l ’avvio all ’ erasmus ka2 plus che impegnerà il nostro istituto per i prossimi due anni.
A partire dal mese di novembre gli studenti coinvolti verranno ospitati nelle città europee partecipanti al progetto e lavoreranno insieme ai loro partner in attività similari da loro organizzate comunicando in lingua inglese e tedesco; si confronteranno su temi quali:
- l'educazione ambientale e sostenibile, il rispetto delle risorse naturali come l 'acqua e la biodiversità vegetale e animale, l‘importanza del riciclo e della raccolta differenziata, ma anche sul tema più importante del nostro tempo: il riscaldamento globale e le sue conseguenze, ovvero i cambiamenti climatici;
- la difesa dei diritti umani, non a casol 'unione europea si è assunta l'impegno di promuovere e tutelare la democrazia e lo stato di diritto in tutto il mondo. I diritti dell 'uomo rivestono un'importanza decisiva nelle relazioni dell ' u.e. Con altri paesi e regioni del mondo. L'attività nel campo dei diritti umani può contribuire a prevenire e risolvere i conflitti e, in ultima analisi, ad alleviare la povertà;
- parità di genere. L’ unione europea ha fatto molto in termini di sviluppo di politiche per l ’empowerment delle donne, ma manca la fase di attuazione di queste politiche ed è necessario che la discussione si sposti dalle riunioni degli esperti all ’azione concreta, che la questione “gender” sia inserita in tutte le politiche comunitarie e si utilizzino strumenti di monitoraggio condivisi;
- turismo eco – sostenibile o eco – solidale. Con la proclamazione dell ’anno internazionale del turismo sostenibile inaugurato ufficialmente lo scorso gennaio dall ’organizzazione delle nazioni unite, le proposte messe in campo si sono date tutte un obiettivo ben preciso: vincere la povertà e proteggere il pianeta secondo i 17 principi fissati dall ’agenda 2030. Resta forse da capire quali siano mai le autentiche forme di turismo sostenibile, termine che sovrappone spesso l’idea di equilibrio fra consumo e rigenerazione ambientale, a quella di giustizia sociale fra i popoli con cui si entra in contatto.
“Il viaggio è incontro” - “la nostra conoscenza si arricchisce, ogni qualvolta entra in contatto con altre conoscenze” - “prima di pensare a cambiare il mondo, meditate nuove costituzioni, stabilite un nuovo ordine, scendete prima di tutto nel vostro cuore, fatevi regnare l ‘ordine, l ‘armonia e la pace.
Soltanto dopo, cercate delle anime che vi assomigliano e passate all ‘azione”: facciamo nostri questi aforismi e insegniamo ai nostri studenti a ricercare quell ‘unicità che li contraddistingue e facciamoli essere cittadini del mondo!
